  The stylist rushed the whole process, particularly the colouring. Fortunately for me I spent less time smelling the stylist's cigarette smoke combination cologne scent and there wasn't any major damage done as my colour barely changed. I also asked for a very, very short trim (which I had to clarify that an inch is not a short trim for a girl with curly hair) which was mediocre at best.

  For a requested "trim", my hair looks completely different. Not at all what I wanted or expected to pay for. I too felt the male stylist yanked on my hair. There is a drastic difference in the photos is way more taken off then what I asked for -this is not a trim. It is also uneven and there have been pieces taken off increasing in length towards the middle one ONE side. I reached out immediately after by email and got a response suggesting a re-do but when more length is taken off than requested, there is little that can be done. I have not been offered a credit.

  Overall, unprofessional service and mucho price for a colour I could have done at home in a clean space. I would never return and/or recommend this place to anyone.

  I will make mudHoney my new go-to place to hair cuts. Ive had the same long boring hairstyle for 10+ years and needed a change. I was super nervous but Kim made me feel very comfortable and I was able to put my complete trust in her. The result? A modern, chic cut that I keep getting compliments on! It was just the change I needed, I will be back! There was no forced upsells, I simply got exactly what I came in for.

  From the moment I walked into mudHoney I knew I had made a poor decision buying a Groupon here. It took about 10 minutes standing at the front desk before either of the workers even acknowledged me. During that 10 minutes I was frantically searching to see if I could cancel my purchase but wasn't able to. Since I paid close to $100, I decided to stick it out.
