  We saw a unit advertised at $17900 with 105000km mid week on Kijiji. I called to confirm details and ask questions on a Wednesday and arranged to have the vehicle inspected at an authorized mechanic shop, in person. When we arrived, we noticed the vehicle was far more used and I quickly found out the unit had 105000 MILES on it, not kilometers. We also found out that the VIN number brought up a specific size of gear ratio but the advertised ratio was not the same. There was also a considerable hydraulic leak from the boom which was not disclosed on the ad and the cab fan (heat) control switch was broken and heat would not blow. I was also informed that this vehicle was purchased at Adesa Auction. Upon taking the vehicle to inspection it was found that the vehicle required about $3000 of necessary work, and $2000 recommended. We returned to the dealer and discussed our findings, showing them our inspection report which they photocopied. The salesman mentioned his manager was at Jeet Auto Dealers so these two companies are affiliated. At this point they said they would have their mechanic do the $3000 in repairs, and would then sell the vehicle to us for $22,900! We traveled from out of the city to look at this vehicle and paid to have it inspected, found considerable work upon our inspection, and then they used our information to jack up the price. As of today the vehicle listing price has been increased to $22,900. The details of the ad were not correct, and this dealer was far from willing to negotiate and had no problem using us to pay for an inspection and using our findings for their purposes. I would not recommend purchasing a unit from these dealers, or attempting to deal with them.
