  Rented a compact car for the last long weekend. Felt surprised to get a free upgrade -> a Chrysler 300S! Had an amazing trip overall. Will definitely go there for more car rentals.

  Now, I do not like the new car purchase experience. Used car salesmen make me pissed off every time I have to buy a new vehicle. It’s about how much they can make on a deal, and as you know, everyone has to make a living, and I respect that. My issue is that once you sign on the dotted line and they get their cash you don’t matter anymore. These guys could care less. Repeat business does not mean anything to them.

  In 2016 my wife wanted a new Cadillac Escalade so we went down to the dealer to look at them. Well she didn’t like the new body style so she started looking for a gently used 2015. She found it at Driving Force on the west side of Edmonton.

  So my wife and I went back to Driving Force, my blood was boiling, I was ready to let loose on these guys. At least I can vent on these guys for not standing up to their word, and we can sell this vehicle and get a new vehicle somewhere else and be done with it.

  I wanted to get the wife the NEW Caddy, but she liked the older one. I didn’t want to argue with the missus. She knows what she likes, it’s her decision. I will have the argument later with these used car salesmen when I have a problem with this “used vehicle”.

  Well, a year later my wife had a little problem. She went to the dealer and they said sorry, that’s not covered under warranty! All the regular excuses followed-you didn’t buy from us directly, you are the second owner, that problem is regular wear and tear, we all know the “go away” techniques. My problem was that this vehicle is only 2 years old.
