  There's usually plenty of food including second helpings available, free bread, free clothes available through the community closet, free books available (a wide range of used fiction,not just new testament Bibles), access to sewing machines to patch up clothes, it's frequented by outreach workers/legal aid, staff are friendly, they often show a movie or the hockey game... In short, it's a relatively nice place to get a break from the cold when you're homeless in downtown Edmonton.

  This drop in has the best suppers everynight except sundays.

  The staff are very good at helping people there. A good meeting place. Dinner served at 7pm so be there by 630

  The Mustard Seed Church provides the city services that are truly blessings from God. I feel very very blessed to be able to donate to this organization on a regular basis. God is doing great things through these people, taking care of people right here in Edmonton, where we can all see the miracles that happen.

  I have volunteered here close to a dozen times. They are a great organization who are doing a difficult job so they cannot be praised enough. If you are looking to give back the Seed is a great option since you can see your donations at work every single night. The kitchen staff are great and organize the volunteers well. Your rarely standing around and leave with a sore back and a smile on your face.
