Repertory fare, film festivals, children's movies, something for nearly everyone.

Flat floor seating instead of the more modern stadium style. If you are shorter try the upper mezzanine.

The opposite of Cineplex in so many fantastic ways.

Cash only for the snack bar. (Not a bad thing, just an FYI). And the old theatre make you feel back in the older days.

The best is when they play old movies. Great popcorn ans great staff. My biggest complaint is that they have changed the movies they play. Three years ago I could find 2 or 3 movies a month to go and see. I think their mentality is not the same. They do not play as many old classic movies, or great foriegn movies; but seem to focus on movies with political messages.

Friendly vibes, comfortable and doesn't feel hyper-profit driven. Specifically, you won't have to sit through 20 minutes of trailers before your show. Plays a lot of cool smaller movies.

Super fun retro cinema, originally built in 1940. One screen but that's all you need!

Best place for a movie but add more variety of snacks. Only popcorn, pop and candy.

This place is great for that vintage feel for movies. The place could arguably use a renovation though as the walls in the theatre looking like they're peeling off. I don't come often, but I always have fun when I do. Mostly a place for lesser known films and film study majors.

A very different experience than the mega movie plexes most people are used to. The screen is smaller and it lacks the thunderous sound system of modern theatres.
