    It’s Completely below average / mediocre... Bad waitressing. When I asked for a different table right in the beginning the response by the waitress was rude.

    Serious downgrade. State & Main used to be one of our go to's for brunch. We won't be back. The menu has changed and the food is really basic; not at all worth the time or money. Ordered the eggs Benedict. Took forever to come. Which is hard to understand because they have now replaced proper seasoned hashbrown potatoes with greasy tater tots. Tater tots? Are you kidding me? I could have sworn I can taste the tears of the chef forced to serve eggs Benny with tater tots. And replaced melon slices with a skewer of fruit tray quality fruit pieces. The eggs were overcooked which is a mortal sin for eggs Benny. The warm egg was also placed on a cold slice of tomato from the fridge. Who taught this chef to put tomatoes in the fridge? Used to be classy food, and now it's what you'd expect for a small town motel restaurant made by a short order cook. Such a stark contrast to what it used to be. Very disappointing.

    We didn’t see that in the beginning, later we had to ask other waitresses at least twice before someone could come and clean it. There was literally garbage under the table.

    came in here a couple of times but nov 17 2017 my fiancee and i were in here and we got great service from our server, the food was also great. thank you for and keep up the good work . we will see you again

    Then she provided us with a table which had garbage and water all over the floor under the table.

    We ordered several appetizers, salads, french onion soup between 4 of us as well as a steak sandwich. The foods ordered were very good except for the steak. The steak was ordered blue rare and when it arrived it looked more like 3 ounces (was suppose to be 6 ounces). It was not blue rare and I sent it back. The next steak was 6 ounces which I was happy about , but it was not blue rare. Everybody else had finished eating so now it was just me. The steak was overcooked and was tough, stringy, grizzly and chewy. I let the waitress know about this and she replied that she would let the cook know about that and gave me the bill. So we paid the bill. Left a good tip 18% AND WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. THERE STEAK WAS HORRIBLE AND THEY DON'T SEEM TO CARE. NOT VERY CLASSY AT ALL. I DON'T THINK THEY SEEM TO CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER RETENTION!!!!!
