  The selection is good and I appreciate the organic meat selections, but I think some of the products are way over priced. $14 for a grinder of salt? No thanks.

  I mostly buy produce here because it has a better selection than my local grocery store. The live lettuce is good and the mushroom options are much better than I’ve seen most places.

  The customer service early in the morning could use some improving. I can understand that not everyone is thrilled to be working in the service industry and plenty of people just want to pay their bills, but I don’t think that being friendly to customers is too much to ask.

  Due to the fact its full or riff raff that are sitting in and around the store waiting to ask for money .. There's other stores near by to go to that are much better.

  Great place for drop in grocery shopping. Self check out is great and no long queues. Always get good parking.

  This is the worst Safeway I have been to. One male teller was rude on 2 different occasions. It really has not been a good Safeway for either produce or customer service for many years. It stays in business from the University kids who have no cars and can't drive to a different location.

  It's a Safeway! That said, it's one of the smaller stores in the city and as it caters mostly to the university students, there's not much by way of bulk or say, large roasts. If you're looking for more variety, large portioned goods, etc. you're better off going to one of the larger stores.

  They have good prices here, but not a clean store.
