  We are very happy with the stone and the work of Beau, Todd and Cory. We picked a very heavy mantel and the boys were extremely careful and fruitful at getting it mounted correctly. Which took two extra days. Thank you for the professional service and care you all took to make sure we were satisfied. We will definitely recommend Blancette Slate to all family and friends.

  Came here to pick up an order, everyone I dealt with was very helpful. Product was packaged nicely and they did a great job loading the pallet on the truck for me. Looks very clean and organized, sign of a great business.

  My SO and I contacted Blanchette Slate in March 2016 to purchase slate for our backsplash in our newly renovated kitchen. We spoke with a gentleman who indicated they did not have any of the size of aspen slate that we wanted. He said that a client was ordering the same kind we wanted and that it would be in in about 4 weeks. I didn't receive a call or update after the 4 week period so I called them. They then told me that it hadn't been ordered and we'd have to wait another 4-6 weeks. We we're a bit irritated but decided to wait again as we liked the stone and Blanchette came in recommended from a friend of mine. We then called back 6 weeks later (they hadn't made an attempt to contact me to update about the whereabouts of the slate) and they again told me that it hadn't been ordered and would be another 4-6 weeks. At this point we were extremely displeased. We had been waiting well over 2.5 months to finish our kitchen renovations simply because the slate hadn't been ordered. Each employee had a different story and the manager hung up on me. The terrible organization and unprofessional conduct of this company is ridiculous. We will be going to Tile & Stone Source International for our slate needs as they have been MORE than accommodating and can guarantee the stone in less than a week.
