There is a lot to see and do in Alberta's capital. Edmonton's river valley is one of the best urban parks that I have seen anywhere. It is huge with a massive network of trails for hiking, biking, roller skating and it is stunning in the autumn when the park forest changes color. As far as cities go, I rank it as one of the best places to live in Canada.

Nice building, has an interesting architechtural feature that, viewed from the City Council Chamber exit, all the major lines in the atrium point straight to the citizens' entrance. Fountain is used for skating in winter and wading in summer.
