  Retail workers go through the ringer at their jobs, especially this time of year. I have been HIT, had my life threatened, and had people call the police on me because of similar issues to what I have spoken about above. If you are the type of person to threaten someones well being or to physically assault someone because of a $30 SWEATER, then there are bigger issues here.

  3. From what I understand, H&M operates like European stores - the customer decides how much interaction they want with the staff. This is why they don't always approach you to help. Lots of people like it this way. If you need help, ask for it.

  5. Yes the store can get messy and difficult to shop but it's high volume. And its because of the customers that things get so messy. I've seen the staff at this H&M running around like crazy trying to clean up the mess their customers leave behind. Maybe if the customers had a little bit of decency, the employees could focus on customer service :)

  Horrible return policy. I bought two vests 5 days ago with the intention of returning one of them.. well my 5yr daughter took my receipt out of the bag that I had ready to go back and now we can’t find it

  I came here today just to drop off my old clothes. Usually, when I dropped more than 10 pieces of clothing in other locations, they will give me at least 2 coupons to get a $5 off for next over $35 purchase. However, I dropped more than 40 pieces of my clothing but just got one coupon. The cashier(maybe the cash manager because she was training one of the new staff) was telling me it is one coupon per bag of clothing, and they only do double coupons few times a year. She was telling me to separate clothing next time. It shocked me a lot. I never heard of it. Also, if I can fit my clothing in one bag, it doesn’t make any sense to using separate bags. It is such a waste! I definitely will not drop or shop any clothing in here. They telling different stories from other stores. I rather shopping in WEM than here.

  the prices are alright and i don't mind the staff. the store is a bit cramped for space but the clothes are usually what I'm looking for

  If you're going to be snotty and rude to your customers please find another line of work that isn't retail.

  replying to previous comments. the store isn't an outlet so the prices are average i guess. and i work in south common so you'll be hard pressed to find a store with a bathroom for anybody. just be a smart parent and take you're kid to the bathroom before you leave. and most clothes store policies want a receipt.

  Do not go to this location as the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Even a simple question of "Do you have this sweater" give you the snotty response of "if we have it it's over in the men's section" and "i'm with another customer"

  4. MOST stores these days do not accept returns without a receipt, I don't know why this is still an issue with people. Just be a tiny bit less careless with your belongings and you're fine.

  2. Yes the staff has a bathroom, no your child/grandma/pregnant wife can not use it. As a retail worker (also in South Edmonton Common, not at H&M), I know that behind closed doors is confidential information not to be shared with customers (about products, money, sales, theft, etc.). We get asked this at my store all the time too, we can't let 50+ customers a day into the back room.
