  Get ready to spend a whole day trying to talk to a real person.. just wasted so much time today trying to reach someone then at 4 while i was waiting for 25 mins on the phone it cuts me off and tells me that their office is now closed.. Like everyone else that's left a review, there is no good words to say about having to deal with these guys on either end of the stick.. even worse if you are the "debtor". Maintenance Enforcement should be added to the dictionary and referred to as a place of unfair business where a good person can call in and in a matter of moments be reduced to nothing better than the dirt on the ground while money is being made off the hard working people that don't deserve this treatment.

  Wonders if these guys have anything to do with the pheonix pay system, if not they should get together theyre Canadian made for eachother. They have an attitude much like the biker grannies from Monty Python for both parties involved. I recieved a call the other day informing me they wouldnt honour the school fees I sent in September 2017???? Its now late January 2018 becuse my order states 'registration fees' and that wasnt on the reciept. They've honoured my school fees every year but now wont??? So why did I spend 4 + grand in court to get that on my order so it's covered to have them tell me now they cant accept it? Just making life miserable for everyone, too bad some lawyer out there wouldnt class action sue them to get thier act together. They dont follow court orders because they interperet the laws thier own way and thats the problem.

  They are a collection agency essentially. Unfortunately they are under funded and under staffed to deal with all the cases they have. The steps for enforcement can only go so far, but I wish they could take them farther so that action would actually be done. Not many debtors realize that their license has been suspended - most don't listen to the notices they receive in the mail. Many don't update their information (address, phone number, etc). Unfortunately there isn't much maintenance can do as their hands are tied. They do the best with what they have. As for customer service, after all the yelling and abuse the call people receive, I can see why they may be exhausted and agitated when they finally get to speak to you. Take it easy on these guys!

  It is a disgrace. Taking the money from my ex on dec27, and when I call in jan 15 they telling me there is no court order any longer. So why did they take the money ? No matter how many times you call or complain, nothing changing, they don't care you need to pay the rent. We need to start a petition to change things. Way too many people suffer- debtor or debtee- not to talk about the kids @!

  Absolute WORST ever!! My husband's ex was ALLOWED by MEP to submit a FALSE CLAIM of arrears WITH NO PROOF WHAT-SO-EVER (she was paid in full, but can't do math apparently). When we called to report that this was a false claim, we were told that the onus was on us to prove that she had been paid! SHE DID NOT HAVE TO PROVE THAT SHE DIDN'T RECEIVE PAYMENT, BUT WE HAD TO PROVE SHE DID RECEIVE IT!!! Unbelievable! Then when we did provide our bank records, we also had to prove it was her bank account! When they finally realized we had paid and were not deadbeats that this system makes you out to be, she was never reprimanded in any way. When we asked them to look into this false claim, they said they would and never did we've been waiting to hear back for 6 months! THEN on top of all this they don't process our payments in a timely manner, which then causes her to call in and us to get missed payment notices and threats of revoked driver's license etc etc WHEN WE HAVE PAID!!! We've tried time and again to contact them with no luck and because of this false claim on his ex's part we are now stuck in this SEVERELY FLAWED MEP NIGHTMARE! This should be a program that goes after the deadbeats and helps the suffering party, but instead it goes after good people who are actually paying their bills! We have 50% custody and we pay her full child support despite him living with us half the time and we still always pay our bills! Yet she can ruin it all on a whim just because she feels like being a cow or can't run a calculator! UNFAIR!
