  An honest family owned business with beautiful furniture and great caring people bought a kitchen table and chairs from there 6 years ago and after moving lost the screws to the table legs I called the owner and he said no problem come in and he had them ready for me free of charge. Check out their beautiful furniture and great service prices are good too

  On Oct. 7th, 2017 I ordered a custom made French Provincial Sofa, Loveseat, Chair & Ottoman for the amount of $3460.80 from SunDeep Furniture at 9908-65 Avenue, Edmonton. There was no floor sample of the French Provincial Sofa set that I ordered. I was only shown small photo ad. I paid the deposit which was $870.00. The furniture arrived at the store on November 25th. The furniture was situated at the back of the store with the plastic and cardboard wrapping from being shipped. The staff would not remove the plastic and cardboard so I could inspect the furniture properly. They would only slice a hole in the top of the plastic wrapping for me to have a peek inside. Also the furniture was crammed in the back of the store with other merchandise only allowing about a foot of room to walk in front of the furniture making it impossible to thoroughly inspect the furniture. I inspected the furniture best I could by peeking inside of the plastic from the top and was very unhappy with the quality of the upholstery work done on the set. It looked like it had been done by an amateur and not by a professional. The button tufted backs were very sloppy with big bunches of fabric sticking out, the foam cushions were not cut to fit the seats properly and the trim along the woodwork on the backs of the furniture was crooked and you could see the staples on top of the trim from a staple gun. I told Kulwinder Dhaliwal that I was very unhappy with the upholstery job and pointed out everything that was wrong with it and I didn't want the set. I was not refunded my deposit. On November 27th Kulwinder called me and asked if I wanted the furniture. I said no. He replied that he would sell the furniture fast and he would refund my deposit as he hated to have an unhappy customer. As of today I still have not received a refund for my deposit. Since the furniture upholstery work was so unprofessional I feel I should not have to wait for him to sell it before I get my refund on the deposit back. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Review a couple days ago. I am waiting to hear the outcome. I had attached photos with this review but they are not showing. If you click on my name it will show the photos. May I suggest filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau if you are unhappy with the service you have received.

  I put in an order for 2 couches (pictured) and custom cushions with a deposit. I found similar styles at much higher prices at other big name stores.
