Brought my 2014 vehicle with 80 000 km on it for an out of province inspection. I had an appointment and was told it would take 2 hours. It took 4.5 hours because they were "busy". When I came to pick it up they told me they had failed it, quoted me $1400 worth of work, and informed me it was still on the hoist with the wheels off in case I wanted to get it worked on right away. They were too busy to do the inspection in a timely manner but they suddenly had the time and parts to "fix" my vehicle?

The customer service at the auto desk was incredibly slow. The service manager Wayne was particularly unhelpful. They screwed up my paper work and called me to come back in as they needed signatures. I may be a woman who doesn't know a thing about mechanics but I will not be taken advantage of and would never go back.

Had a major clutch problem that was a carry over from a prior "fix" . It meant flywheel, an entire new clutch assembly and the slave cylinder - which was really the root of the problem - probably for a while. These guys took me in in a heart beat - I had no other transportation and just got out of the hospital. Wayne and his shop crew really did a decent job - as painful as the sticker shock was - they minimized the damage where they could. Moreover, they got on it too. I was just over a day without a vehicle. The clutch is now as good as it was when I bought the vehicle new. Brilliant job. Top shelf. Thanks Canadian Tire Kingsway.

Called in Today and waited for Auto Parts department for about 10 minutes. Once the phone was answered i relayed my request for a Blower Motor for my vehicle and asked the price of it and how much it would cost for it to be put in to my car. He searched up the part, he gave me the price which was 79 bucks and instead of answering anything else he stopped our conversation by telling me they don' have the part in stock. First of all.. any Canadian Tire i have ever went to before has asked if i would like the part ordered in or they would offer it right away. Second , He still didn't tell me how much it would cost to simply get the part put in to my vehicle. What kind of Auto Parts service are you running? this is ridiculous. I will not be recommending this Canadian Tire to anyone for Mechanical or parts services.

I had bought a new vehicle battery just under 4 years ago from this location and last week my vehicle failed to start. After try to boost my vehicle with another I called into the warranty program associated with Motomaster/Canadian Tire. They dispatched a tow truck, they came and gave me a boost which took about 15 minute to start my SUV. Once it was started I drove back to the same Canadian Tire and they fulfilled the warranty after completing the necessary testing on the battery. I was very impressed by the smooth process and staff I dealt with.

Don't trust the auto service!! Get a second opinion, or better yet don't go in the first place.

This is my local Canadian Tire with almost everything I've ever needed to look for in stock and good pricing. Staff are helpful when they're available. Love the summer time when the Hotdog stand is outside!

I brought it to a dealership for a second opinion where it passed the inspection. They could not find anything wrong with the parts Canadian Tire tried to fail it for.
