  The staff at this hotel are always so friendly. They have a package for people who can't sleep, or maybe if the hockey goers are too loud. The gentleman who runs the breakfast bar is amazing. He's probably the reason many of us come back! Super friendly and helpful. He even remembered I had exams and asked how they went in the morning (I passed!). The breakfast is really good, lots of options. The rooms are clean and spacious too. There's paid parking at the back if you come with a car or it's easy enough to book an airport shuttle from the front desk.

  This is an older hotel and it shows in some ways. The elevators seem a little beat up and the fitness center leaves a lot to be desired. You can count on doing some cardio but the home gym machine seemed like it really needs some maintenance. The staff here has been stellar! They have fully made up for any of the little issues I have found. All of them have always been super helpful and very friendly. The included breakfast is good - it's pretty much your standard Holiday Inn breakfast with eggs, sausage, juices, coffee, some breads, cereals, and fruit as well. Even though it is a bit old, the entire hotel was very clean when I was there. I would stay again.

  I don't know if the people I spoke with over the phone are associated with the hotel or not, so I will certainly remove this if they are. If you are attempting to book over the phone or online with Holiday Inn Express, do it only if you have ALL the time in the world! It took me a little under a week to just get an email leading me to what was not even a contract or quote. All I wanted was a simple quote!! So I phoned the Holiday Inn by West Edmonton Mall and got a quote in 7 minutes. When I phoned the Holiday Inn Express I was put on the line with people who would transfer me to other people, thus quickly feeling like I was just a number on the line, less a person. They told me they would email me a quote the same day, which they did NOT! Very frustrating as I was planning a band trip and just needed to get it completed quickly. Would not recommend booking this hotel over the phone or online at all! Annoying!

  Nice room. Seemed clean. Our floors vending machine and ice machine did not work. But that was no big deal for me. The hotel room did it's job. Comfy bed, shower worked good. Everything was stocked up well. Would go again. Great location.

  Good overall stay, nothing fancy but it's a good place if you're just in town for a short time. Breakfast is included and is more than the usual continental offered at many of the hotels and has some healthier options. There are restaurants nearby and it is within good walking distance of Jasper Ave (public transportation). Parking is $16/day with Inpark and is a surface lot right beside the hotel BUT, especially when the lot is snow covered, parking spots can be hard to come by.
