  I moved within Edmonton and went with Canada US Van Lines. First off, my CSR Dana was fantastic. Got back to me in a timely matter and offered tips for packing, saving money and making the move more of a journey then a chore. I'm happily moved into my new place. Item's were placed where I requested them and my move was done in under 2 hours.

  The Edmonton part of this was okay they actually answer the phone and try to help with the Toronto part ( only reason to justify the one star). But dealing with Toronto part was a nightmare. Do not deal with this company EVER! My stuff is a month late. And the staff is extremely rude!!!. I repeat DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

  Firstly, they are NOT A FULL SERVICE company. Every company I have ever used has come prepared to take apart your furniture and reassemble it on the other side, including packing up your mattress in a bag and getting it safely to your new place (no extra charge). I was lead to believe this was the service I was paying for. These guys did not even come with tools! They also charged me for putting my mattress in a bag.

  even though I had less than the estimated 2,000 lbs. of stuff. This is a direct quote from the lady who booked my move: "If you have more than 2,000 lbs. it will cost more, but if you have less it will cost less." Well, I have just over 1,300 lbs., and as you can see, it did not cost me less.

  We moved from Alberta to Ontario and when we received our load many of our products where damaged and missing.I have moved before and never have I dealt with a company who has no respect for other peoples belongings. It looked as if our load had been thrown around. Broken glass damaged TV numerous paintings missing the frames.

  Secondly, their quote was completely off. I was given a quote of $640 for 2,000 lbs. of stuff. I asked specifically if there were any extra charges or if that was the total cost. I was told as long as I have an elevator key it was everything. In addition to the math on my final bill not adding up, I was charged almost $900 dollars for my move,

  They also failed to tell us that your load gets packed at pick up then taken off the truck and packed again then taken off that truck and packed again for delivery to you. Hence the reason for all the damages.

  Finally, they were awful at actually moving my stuff. They showed up with a rental truck branded to the truck rental company and showed me no ID. They could have been robbing me for all I knew. EVERY MOVER I have ever used has put down mats and have gone out of their way to not scratch my floors and to be gentle on both of my places. These guys were awful, scraping their dollies on my floors, and leaving me with disassembled furniture that I am unable to put back together myself.

  Garbage complete garbage. Were 2 weeks late "lost" and broke belonging. Don't know how to pack. Wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy

  All my boxes ( they were all duct taped closed) well they were all opened and looked through. And I’m gunna say 90% of my things were damaged or broken. And when they actually showed up to reliever they wanted more $$ before they were going to give us our stuff.
