Pretty decent sound as a concert venue and really good security. I think they should mark the 2 stairs leading to the stage area with reflector tape or something because I saw 2 people fall down them. You really can't see the stairs at all when it's dark and lots of people around. Aside from that, it was a good venue for small concerts.

I'm not surprised by the overpriced drinks or the grungy interior, it's the rules & layout. First, when bands change, there's nowhere for the gear to enter/leave, so they form a line and block any and all movement around this bizarrely-designed venue. Next, NO RE-ENTRY? What a joke. Enough to make me skip concerts their for artists I actually like. I don't want to smoke in the depressing, prison-like environment they funnel you into here. Pretty bad acoustics too, but they're not bad if you get in JUST the right location on the floor. Also depends on if the band's sound guy can work magic with bad acoustics. In some ways, there's not a lot of things you could do differently given the awkward layout. Very hit or miss, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't seen some good shows here.

Otherwise the only two things that bothered me was the sticky floor everywhere i walked and the excessive pat down and security check they made me take off my belt and pull all my pocket lining out of my pockets seemed a little much but I understand why...

Other than the jerk at the door being cold as all get out, great vibe. Went to a concert here and love the venue and setup of the place. It is large enough to fit a good amount of people but small enough to feel personal and intimate with the artist. Would definitely go to more concerts here.

Great venue for seeing smaller or less popular artists. Unfortunately, you can't expect great sound quality because of it being a converted bar and not well set up for live shows. Its certainly loud, though! ;)

Sound from the speakers clear with more than enough bass

Didn't have the upper deck open due to ticket sales, so that was a bummer
