Had an awesome snow shoe trip through the park today! Great park in summer and winter.

Best XC skiing in the city. The Edmonton Nordic Club makes snow here and the trail maintenance crews are excellent.

A great natural park that's part of Capital City Recreation Park system stretching from Southwest to Northeast through the North Saskatchewan River valley, Gold Bar Park being near the Eastern end of this continuous park system. In winter there are set Nordic ski trails and in the summer fine walking trails and duck ponds. There are large picnic sites that can be reserved as well as numerous smaller sites. One can connect by footbridge to Rundle Park on the north side of the river or to nearby Capilano Park to the west of 50th Street. There is lots of space for many people to enjoy without it feeling crowded. Gold Bar Park is a hidden gem in Edmonton.

Been going to Gold Bat Park for over 25 years. Lovely picknick areas, running/ walking paths, park area, skating and cross country skiing in the winter. Access to the other river valley parks via the pathways. On and off leash dog areas.

Super nice park. Lots to do in both the winter and summer. Kind of hidden away but a gem worth seeing. There is a large variety of terrain to explore and even a bridge to cross the river.
