  I am going to go ahead and ignore the negative reviews on here. Though I understand all Vet experiences are case sensitive, I cannot say a single negative comment about our experience with Ellerslie Pet Hospital. We LOVE Dr. Darren! He is kind, knowledgeable, patient, and very thorough. Our dog is a little bit of a social nightmare (to people and dogs!) so Dr. Darren's patience and delicate approach was very helpful and encouraging for future appointments. I was even given an appraisal for dental cleaning but did not feel at all pressured into having it done right away as the costs are fairly high. We will however be taking our dog here for this procedure as we do feel that Dr. Darren and the staff at Ellerslie Pet Hospital are the best people for the task. We will continue to use this as our family's vet clinic once we move as we have been so pleased with the service. :)

  I have two cats that I bring to Ellerslie Pet Hospital and every time I go in I’m happy with the experience. Dr. Mandrusiak is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He thoroughly explains everything that is going on and answers all of my questions, both when I am there and when I call in with a concern. The staff is always smiling, happy, and friendly. About a week after you bring your pet in to see them, they call you to ask how your pet is doing since the last visit. I feel that everything is reasonably priced, from products to services. I definitely recommend Ellerslie Pet Hospital to anyone looking for a vet in the area!

  Just returned from another outstanding visit to the Ellerslie Pet Hospital. Dr. Kate Kewish, her husband and outstanding office manager Doug, plus all of the staff, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS take great care of our dog Rudy (and us). Two minor issues for today's visit, but Kate takes the time to explain everything to us. For this we are are very grateful!!! We've lived in Canada & the USA with our dogs and, as such, have visited many vets over the years. We started going to Ellerslie Pet Hospital just after they opened and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend Ellerslie Pet Hospital!!!

  I would like to thank Dr Darren and staff. Yesterday I had to put my dog to sleep of almost 16 yrs! It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Darren was absoulutey amazing,caring and compassionate. They got myself and my family in last minute and were very accommodating. Giving us all the time we needed. He's very knowledgeable and professional making it a bit easier for our little guy to cross the rainbow bridge. Although it was my first time at the clinic I highly recommend this place. Again, staff and Dr Darren are the people you should trust for your little loved one.

  The best service and prices I could find! I have taken my dog to 4 different clinics trying to find the best ones that wouldn't try to push things on me that she didn't need, were patient with me (being a first time owner) and were reasonable with their prices. They were also the most helpful when I moved to Ontario and needed to confirm some paperwork I lost in transit.
