Amazing experience! Came in with my two pugs who had swallowed a chicken wing/drumstick and they saw us right away. The tech, Noma, saw us right away, gave us great advice and they didn’t charge us a cent! They even gave us wet high fibre food to help our dogs pass the bones all for free! Would recommend in a heart beat! Amazing service!

Pushed us to do $7000 surgery with little information. Very cold when we decided not to go through with it.

I truly hope the staff and doctors actually working with the animals show more warmth in their approach.

The receptionist is a key component to any business and I will absolutely not be supporting this one because of theirs.

Took 6 hours and $200 to find out that my dog has dry skin. They didn't have what she needed at the clinic. So they said I need to go to another clinic to get the medicine. Went to another clinic but they won't give me what I need without giving my dog a check up. That will cost atleast another $80 and whatever the price of the medication. So there was absolutely no point of going to this clinic. They took my money because I was worried about my dog loosing patches of fur. This clinic is obviously just in it for the money and not the well being of the animals that they see. Worst experience, I 100% would not recommend.

Ended up taking dog to Saskatoon for surgery there. Cost about $2800.

When you're in the business of serving people and their pets (which are more like their children), I anticipate more sincerity, compassion and guidance.

When my dog started displaying alarming symptoms three and a half months ago, I immediately brought him to Guardian. He was seen and treated (with fluids as they had no clue what was wrong with him). I asked REPEATEDLY if it could be a tick bite because the symptoms matched up and we had just been camping in the deep woods in the mountains one week prior. The vet said no, that ticks didn't live there. Didn't check, didn't ask further questions, nothing. I had to put my dog down last week, after three months of him slowly but steadily declining in health. I'm not 100% sure it was a tick bite but I've read through every infection and illness symptoms a dog can get, and the only one that matches up 100% is a tick bite. It was not cancer because we had tests done to rule that out. I am disgusted and so angry. Mistakes happen, but to not even listen to your client is just sickening. I will never bring another pet here. For those wondering where a good alternative is, check out Lakeside Veterinary in Sherwood Park - they are incredible.

The receptionist expressed absolutely zero compassion, guidance or care toward my dog or me as a worried and confused owner.

Poor experience, and I didn't even make it to the clinic. (Nor will I).

Recommended we put down dog if we do not go through surgery.
